Small Tokens

I made cookies for family and friends this year - cousins and Uncles...and my best friend from high school...

But here's the thing...they are all boys. What do you make for boys?? I do cookies (well and sew) but what cookies (or sewing) do you do for BOYS??! So I made a decision...food and golf. DONE.

So I made pizza cookies, inspired by Sweet Sugarbelle (she's kinda a genius!) and golf cookies I found on Pinterest...

My cousin had her second baby. 

Now it is official, I'm old. I remember when she was born...how is it possible she is married with 2 kids...

But nevertheless she is and we are thrilled! So as usual, I celebrate with cookies...

My cousin sent out really cute announcements so I made it into edible paper and decorated cookies with the pictures - they were too cute to resist! (I may need a 12 step program for edible paper and brushed embroidery cookies...)

I think they turned out darling...

I wanted to try a new product (new to me) for my very good friend (Dawn) for Mother's Day...on cookies of course...

It's wilton color spray mist...and these are my version of Munchkin Munchies gingham picnic cookies. 

I loved doing this and I think they turned out really cute!!

So my cousin Allison graduated from Grand Valley State University this year. She worked so hard and did such a great job, well, I wanted to show her how proud we were of her. Clearly this means cookies...and of course that means brushed embroidery cookies!!! :)

I tried my best to match her school's blue...I like how they turned out...added edible glitter and well - PRETTY!!!!!

so I know I have not added new stuff in forEVAH...but i have been very busy making cookies...and sewing aprons...and well, frankly I will admit it...I have been sewing Christmas gifts already...all future posts, I promise.

But back to the reason I am here...

I realize Administrative Assistance day was in APRIL and we are now officially in June...but I mentioned been busy making cookies.

So I am lucky enough to work with one of THE BEST admins in all of business, Christy C. She is great and I wanted to show her how much she meant to me... so I made her cookies that ranged from 6 inches round to 3 inch hearts and 1 1/2 inch ovals. I think they turned out well.
